Starting off! Seven facts about myself:
1: I love food. I eat way too much and I really don't care, I just love food so much. I don't think there's a food out there that I don't like or won't try. At the top of my list are the usual things like cake, donuts, pie, cookies and so on, even if they're not the best things to eat all day. If it's not sweets then the list can go on even longer. I love Turkish food, Greek food, Japanese food, and home cooked Mexican food, courtesy of my best friend.
2: I love to cook. This kinda goes hand in hand with the eating thing, but anyway... I hope one day to open up a cafe, since it's been a dream of mine since I was six or seven years old. It makes me extremely happen when a recipe comes out well, and even happier when someone I care for gets to try it. I think the only things I can't cook are angel food cake and french toast. Don't ask me why, I just can't get it to do the thing when it's cooking and it turns into a mess.
3: I love to write. I've been writing and editing a book for a while now, and since it's almost done that means I can get it published and move on to the next in the series! I've loved to write and create stories since I was a little kid (even though they were terrible back then...) and I've just grown up with the love of writing and books. It's probably why I made this blog, just so I could write nonsense all day.
4: I'm trying to learn German and Japanese at the moment so in the near future I can leave the USA and move to Vienna. Japanese is something I was interested in as a kid (inb4 weeb) and I found that hiragana and some kanji are fairly easy for me to read without having to study much. I'm studying German so I will be able to navigate the maze that is Vienna when I move there, and possibly attend University , but German is horribly difficult for my lazy tongue.
5: I'm into lolita, otome-kei and street fashion. When I was in Vienna recently, I fell head over heels for New Yorker, specifically Fishbone Sister brand clothing, and I'm really mad I can't buy anything online because they're jerks and don't have an online store that I can find. I found lolita back in 2008/2009 but being a poor fifteen year old , I couldn't indulge my fantasies until recently. Otome-kei is very new to me, but I still love it nonetheless.
6: I love video games. Yeah, yeah, "Gamer gurl!!one!" Shut up. I grew up with them, of course I love them! Some of my prized possessions include an '89 Game Boy with the external battery pack, a Dreamcast in pretty great condition, and my collection of
Pokémon cards. (I'm aiming for every card ever printed in every language, heheh...) I'm more of a PC Gamer now, (as stated in my
TNVL: L4D2 post) but that doesn't dwindle my love and respect for games. Also I really adore Vash12349, and we used to have common friends when I was doing LP's on Youtube. RIP almost friendship with Vash. (boohoo)
7: I have no friiiiends. No, I'm kidding, I do. I work 40hrs a week in an office, which means I have little time for socialization with friends in real life, so I rely heavily on other means of communication. Most of my friends are online, and we talk through skype daily. I'd love to make more friends online and don't have much of a problem with people from long distances away. So if anyone finds me interesting, hmu and we can be friends!
